It's only about five pounds, but it was also only those that I could see peeking above the dirt. I don't know what's hiding down below, and I haven't harvested the potato towers, yet.

Those are some huge spuds! Have you seen any blight on them?
They're not really that big ;). I haven't seen any thing on them. They all seem to be growing just fine ;).
Isn't digging potatoes just like a treasure hunt? I always wanna shout 'Eureka!' when I find one....
I love digging potatoes-you just never know what you'll get. I do always manage to "stab" my largest spud with the digging fork though.
:(
yay!!!!!!!!!!!!
mmmmmmmm, nothing like spuds, fresh from the dirt! we had a couple of little ones yesterday, with a splash of butter. Almost like dessert!
Those look fabulous! I'm growing red potatoes this year and it will be a while till they are ready. Potatoes are really fun to grow. Just wish I had more room.
We've been digging up our potatoes, too. I planted a bunch this year, and they are just so tasty. I was kind of surprised that I can really taste the difference between the store-bought ones and my home-grown ones.
I ended up with 5 small potatoes. I need to plant again.
